CONTEMPORARY ART?

Me sigue sorprendiendo la distancia entre las personas y el arte, ese respeto cósmico, una especie de "como-no-se-de-esto-prefiero-mantenerme -al-margen" que aparece cuando de repente sale en tema dichoso 
Pues te diré:

• El arte NO es sagrado. Durante el siglo XIX las piezas de arte procedían principalmente de encargos realizados por la Iglesia y de ahí esa connotación. Desde entonces ha pasado por diferentes fases hasta convertirse en parte de nuestras vidas, lo que es actualmente: interpretación y traslación de lo que nos rodea.

• Abre tu mente. Liberate de los prejuicios, es la única manera de ponerse delante de una pieza de arte y que pueda sorprenderte. Lo de "esto lo hago yo" , "cómo esto puede tener este precio", " mi hijo hace esto todos los días", etc... son sólo excusas para no cambiar de prisma.

• Arte en todas partes. La entrada a las Galerías y Centros de arte, Salas de exposiciones, etc... es gratuita! Informate de lo que sucede en tu ciudad o la ciudad que visites y empapare de todo lo que veas: colores, composiciones, uso de la luz y muchos detalles que te ayudarán con el tiempo a reconocer lo que tienes delante.

• Lee, Habla, Escucha. En un mundo donde el acceso a la información es ya sencillo puedes estar al día de prensa, blogs, publicaciones, conferencias e incluso artistas, galeristas y comisarios que estarán encantados de compartir impresiones.

• Last but not Least: no todo vale. Con todo lo anterior puedes empezara tener tu propio criterio y un ojo educado para poder "distinguir".

Well I'll tell you:

Art is not sacred. During the nineteenth century art pieces were made mainly from orders placed by the Church and hence that connotation. Since then it has gone through several stages to become part of our lives, which is currently: interpretation and translation of what surrounds us.

Open your mind. Liberate of prejudice, is the only way to get in front of a piece of art can surprise you. Kind of "I do this", "how this can have this money", "my child does this every day", etc ... are just excuses for not changing prism.

Art IS everywhere. Admission to the galleries and art centers, exhibition halls, etc ... is free! Find out what's happening in your town or city you visit and drench everything you see: color, composition, use of light and many details that will help over time to recognize it before you.

Read, Talk, Listen. In a world where access to information is simple and can be up to date news, blogs, publications, conferences and even artists, gallery owners and curators who will be happy to share impressions.

Last but not least: not everything goes. With all this you can start having your own judgment and an educated eye to "distinguish".
